About Cardenas Markets
Cardenas Markets is a privately-held leader in the Hispanic Grocery Retail market and headquartered in Ontario, CA. Cardenas has around 60 retail locations in California, Arizona, and Nevada and has been growing both organically and through acquisition. Cardenas believes every visit is a celebration of life, family and culture. Their promise to “Keep Life Flavorful” extends beyond their authentic product offerings to the spirit of how they believe life should be experienced – with warmth and gusto. While it is certainly true that California is not known for its snowfall, that doesn’t mean that the Golden State is completely devoid of the white stuff. In fact, snow is a fairly common sight in parts of California, particularly in the higher elevations. The Sierra Nevada mountain range, which runs through the state, typically sees several feet of snow each year. And while the snowfall in other parts of California is not quite as heavy, it still happens occasionally. So, while you’re unlikely to build a snowman in Los Angeles, you might just see a few flakes if you travel to the right location.
