Role: Sr. SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Project Manager
Start Date: May 1
Duration: 9 months (through Go-Live + Hypercare transition)
Location: Hybrid (U.S.-based) – ~50% travel during key phases
Rate: $105-125/hr USD + approved travel expenses (DOE) ; also could be open to a FTE/W2 Hire or C2C contract.
Overview
Immediate need for a Senior SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Project Manager to lead a greenfield implementation for a CPG client in Upstate New York (ideal for Canadian Citizens, US Citizens, and US Green Card Holders that can work on C2C).
This is a fixed-price, enterprise-scale SAP Activate program covering Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering.
This role requires a true program leader—not a coordinator—capable of managing a sophisticated, high-expectation client environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle delivery across all SAP Activate phases (Prepare → Run)
- Own project plan, milestones, RAID log, and executive reporting
- Serve as the primary client-facing leader, managing senior stakeholders
- Drive testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, Go-Live, and hypercare transition
- Manage scope, risks, and dependencies in a fixed-price environment
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (functional, technical, integration, QA)
- Ensure strong governance, communication, and stakeholder alignment
Required Experience
- 7+ years of project management experience
- 3+ full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations
- 2+ S/4HANA Public Cloud go-lives as PM of record
- Experience leading fixed-price programs ($1M–$3M)
- Strong background in manufacturing or process industries
- Proven ability to manage demanding enterprise clients

- CPG, Life Sciences, Food & Beverage or Process Industries industry experience
- Experience with Cloud ALM, integrations, and AMS transition
