Overview
Immediate need for a Senior SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Project Manager to lead a greenfield implementation for a CPG client in Upstate New York. This is a Full-Time Corporate Employee role - client can help with relocation.
This is a brand new enterprise-scale SAP Activate program covering Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering.
This role requires a true program leader—not a coordinator—capable of managing a sophisticated, high-expectation client environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle delivery across all SAP Activate phases (Prepare → Run)
- Own project plan, milestones, RAID log, and executive reporting
- Serve as the primary client-facing leader, managing senior stakeholders
- Drive testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, Go-Live, and hypercare transition
- Manage scope, risks, and dependencies in a fixed-price environment with a SAP Certified Implementation Partner
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (functional, technical, integration, QA)
- Ensure strong governance, communication, and stakeholder alignment (OCM)
Required Experience
- 7-10+ years of project management experience
- 3+ full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations
- 2+ S/4HANA Public Cloud go-lives as PM of record
- Experience leading fixed-price programs ($1M–$5M)
- Strong background in manufacturing or process industries
- Proven ability to manage demanding enterprise clients

Nice to Have
- SAP Activate PM certification, PMP, or PRINCE2
- CPG, Life Sciences, Food & Beverage or Process Industries industry experience
- Experience with Cloud ALM, integrations, and AMS transition
