SAP Utility Data Migration Lead

Our client, a leading SAP consulting organization specializing in the Utilities industry, is seeking an experienced SAP Utility Data Migration Lead to support major SAP transformation initiatives.

This is not simply a data conversion role. We are looking for a senior SAP IS-U professional who can lead the broader migration solution, understand upstream and downstream business processes, and work across functional, technical, integration, testing, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall SAP IS-U data migration strategy and solution
• Drive migration activities across MDM, Integration, QA/Testing, Billing and Device Management
• Understand end-to-end Meter-to-Cash processes and related data dependencies
• Partner with SAP functional and technical teams to define mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation requirements
• Identify data quality, integration and business-process risks before deployment
• Provide leadership throughout design, testing, cutover and go-live activities
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and SAP program leadership

Ideal Background

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IS-U / SAP for Utilities
• Significant experience leading complex SAP data migration / conversion initiatives
• Deep understanding of Utilities business processes, particularly Meter-to-Cash
• Knowledge of Billing, Device Management, MDM, integrations and testing
• Ability to lead the solution, not simply execute conversion tasks
• Strong client-facing communication and SAP program leadership skills
