SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION
This role is to oversee, plan and manage all aspects of the SAP OTC ( Order to Cash - Sales & Distribution) module deployment and implementation at our facilities. The SD Lead needs to ensure a successful triage of the SAP Support Tickets without interruption to the day-to-day business. The Lead manages and works with external resources to roll out SD features across the business. The Lead initiates new pilot SAP SD features for new business requests. The Lead trains, mentors and helps other Trainers, Business SMEs on new & existing SD features.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Architect, Design and optimize End to End SAP Core Order to Cash (OTC) processes as a SAP SD Lead.
Serve as a SME and solution advisor for how to solve for complex business problems. Work closely with the business groups to understand business problems, issues, and priorities.
Conduct workshops to drive Key Design Decisions with clear recommendations and leading practices.
Triage daily SAP support tickets to keep the business up & running. Configure, Design, Build, Test and Deploy the core SAP SD solution and ensure it works seamlessly.
Work with the project team, team leaders, project delivery leads, and client stakeholders to create stand-out SAP solutions.
Develop strong relationships with clients and gain the trust of key advisors.
Make the business case for the SAP technology solution recommended to the client through research, analysis and sandbox pilot configurations.
Develop, prototype, test, and implement solution improvements to increase stability, usability and functionality to enable end users to meet business objectives
Lead and support new project initiatives to expand the usage of the SAP solution to improve and expand processes across the enterprise.
Understand non-SAP business systems and their interaction with SAP. Assist in the management of those systems as part of an overall solution portfolio.
Provides functional support and leadership to SAP User Community including: interaction with Third-Party Support Providers, definition of SOPs, gathering business requirements,
Identifies training needs and supports CoE Training Manager in the development & delivery of training content.
Train the Trainer sessions regularly and participate in bringing the Training Dept/Business SMEs up to speed on SAP SD processes through classroom, remote and/or group learning sessions.
Collaborate with Master Data Management team to provide solution architecture input on strategy and initiatives to support management reporting requirements.
Mentor business and functional team members to increase their competency in SAP.
10+ years of SAP SD experience with at least 2+years of SAP S/4 HANA (1709 or beyond) Implementation experience
Conversant with standard FIORI applications for SD
Expertise in integration of SAP SD with SAP MM, PP, FICO, CS, PM, TM modules ( (e.g; payments, account determination, revenue recognition, accruals, STO’s, etc.)
Expertise in writing functional specifications and handling technical team communication for WRICEF objects
Order to Cash cycles - (Sales, Delivery, Billing, Sales organization structure, Master data, Integration to WMS)
Sales Master data - (General data - name, address, communication; Sales areas, Sales offices, Sales groups,
Customer groups; Shipping, Billing, Partner functions; Payment transactions)
MSRP - (Retail prices, Wholesale prices, Online prices)
Fiori/UI5 development expertise with ECC or S4 SD projects is a must.
Rebates experience with S4 SD projects is strongly preferred.
Experience with SAP VC (Variant Configuration)/AVC (Advanced VC) will be a plus.
Experience with SAP CX and/or other Cloud CX solutions such as Salesforce will be a plus.
