ASAP Talent Services has been retained on a search for a SaaS client headquartered in Austin, TX. We're looking to recruit & hire a talented Project Manager with expertise in implementing enterprise software with new customers.
The role is a project manager role located in Austin, TX (we are willing to consider remote as well.)

Experience requirements:
- Experience leading the implementation of enterprise COTS software as a vendor (not on the client side and not as a 3rd-party contractor/subcontractor). Minimum services values for their largest projects should exceed $500k, and durations around a year (or longer).
- Experience managing fixed-price contracts
- Experience with offshore project delivery
Skills/competency requirements:
- Client management/negotiation skills and willingness/ability to have difficult conversations (which may be uncovered by the fact that they managed fixed-price contracts successfully; conflict resolution and de-escalation)
- Strong grasp of Project Management fundamentals: Risk/issue management, Schedule management, Change Management (OCM), and project financials including resource forecasting
- Real accountability: Looking for a hands-on approach to Project Management. Try to see if they understand the business and technology they’ve implemented. (Some PMs view their role as logging risks/issues and escalating them. We’re looking for someone that can dig into the problems and try to resolve them.)
High-value but not 100% must-have:
- Experience with Government Clients, SLED, City, State, County government - Public Sector
- Larger project experience: Services exceeding $1-2M and durations over 18-months
- Project recovery experience
- PMP certification or similar training and experience
