Job Title: Head of Product Management – SaaS Retail Software
Location: Anywhere close to a major Airport (USA)
Salary Range: $250-275K/yr with a 30% bonus

Role Overview: As the Head of Product Management for our SaaS retail software, you will lead our product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends. You will collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams to deliver impactful products that meet customer needs and drive business growth. Given that the product is less than 2 years old, there will be significant interaction between you, your team, and clients.

Success in this role after 6 months will include:

  • Creating a visionary roadmap that positions us ahead of the competition.
  • Create an external message to articulate the roadmap to our retail customers.
  • Leading the team to have a clear understanding of our strategic direction.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through timely product fixes and updates.
  • Effectively managing all product requests.

Your ability to balance long-term vision with immediate customer needs will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute product strategy and roadmap, aligned with industry trends and company goals.
  • Lead, mentor and coach a high-performing team while effectively managing the budget for key product investment and roadmap alignment.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to translate customer needs into actionable features and ensure timely delivery.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of the product architecture to design and continuously improve user experiences.
  • Work with marketing and pre-sales teams to evangelize the product vision and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their requirements and drive customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Experience in the retail industry is a must.
  • 10+ years of experience in software product development
  • 5+ years in product management
  • Experience in B2B/Enterprise software, preferably in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) and retail industries.
  • Experience managing a budget and product line
  • Solid understanding of design and UX principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Extroverted with a collaborative leadership style and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Authentic communicator with a comprehensive ability to influence resources to expand thinking and facilitate strategic alignment.

optimize inventory management and improve customer satisfaction. Our overhead RFID
technology is designed to provide real-time data and insights, ensuring seamless integration
and adaptability to various retail workflows. With this product, retailers can achieve higher
productivity, reduced operational risks, and a superior shopping experience for their
customers. Several prominent retailers are rolling out our SaaS Solutions chainwide. We will be
operating in thousands of stores by October of 2024.
