ASAP Talent Services is a SAP-focused search firm. We've been retained by a global client to help recruit a Digital Transformation Business Analyst in the Houston, TX market. The role can be hybrid, home office based, but does need to go to their Houston offices on an "as-needed" basis.
This role is perfect for a 3-7 year (career exp) Digitial Transformation Business Analyst - someone with some ERP/SAP experience as well as the soft skills & business acumen to work with internal Stake Holders and Business Leaders to understand their business processes, challenges, pain points and identify potential projects. The role works closely with IT to bring IT Solutions to the business and provides measurable, meaningful ROI back to the business through solutions.,
Business Acumen in the following areas would be key, as these are also the areas of the business this role would regularly work with: Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Marketing, Order-to-Cash, Order Fulfillment, etc.
Extroverted personality types, great at building rapport with the business leaders, engaging, asking great questions to better understand the business challenges, etc. Experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM), Project Tracking, SAC (Analytics Cloud), Tableau or similar to create Executive Dashboards and KPI's would be a key part of this role.
SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION
The DX Business Analyst serves as an innovative and collaborative business partner with responsibility for the successful delivery of solutions in support of digital transformation and strategic business initiatives. This person is responsible for the analysis of the business requirements (including decomposition, design, development, internal testing, and documentation) for DX projects, and for standardizing company integrations and delivering on client integration requirements/capabilities leveraging vendor(s). This role will lead the development of business cases to support the delivery of these projects and will work closely with the project manager, business stakeholders and the development team to ensure that the business requirements are understood, agreed and delivered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborates with Kaneka business stakeholders, leaders, and technology teams to drive transformational change and business optimization through process improvement and technological deployment
- An ambassador of Digital Transformation (DX), this role will act as a champion for the deployment of tools and technology which promotes tangible business benefit and enables data-driven decision making
- Defines business cases, and functional requirements to ensure that business users current pain points are addressed, and technology is designed and built in a manner which creates real business value
- Develops and lead testing strategies, ensuring that technology is fit for use and fit for purpose
- Focuses on change management, training and post-deployment user adoption of deployed technology
- Works across various platforms that integrate with ERP systems (SAP S4 HANA) and understands the governance, security and integration development
- Work with existing subject matter experts in the various functions (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Management) to identify the best original source of the needed data including the original system of record, enterprise data storage, or other sources such as our operational databases
- Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and overall data systems knowledge to influence decisions of executive business leadership, development partners, and industry standards groups.
- Work with the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) team to understand the planning models, reports, dashboards, reporting needs and other information that will be made to our business leaders
